In all cases a homecheck will be carried out and a
donation will be requested to contribute towards the continuing costs of
running our voluntary rescue. An adoption form will also need to be
completed which states that in the event of any adopter not being able to
continue caring for one of our piggies, then they are returned to us - no
questions will be asked.
Under no circumstances will a guinea pig or guinea
pigs be rehomed to live with a rabbit or to be bred from.
Some of the guinea pigs we take in have only been used to indoor living - within the confines of their cages - we will not rehome any indoor living guinea pigs to be housed outside unless this is done in the Spring or Summer months when the weather is warmer and the piggies can acclimatise to outdoor conditions.
